Travel Apps you need for your next trip.

Download these Apps for your Next Trip

I love an app that will make my life easier! But did you know there are tons of apps out there that can help you on your next trip? I listed some of my favorites below.

Thank you in advance should you decide you would like to purchase any of my recommendations. I only recommend products I have actually used!

  1. Trip It.

Tripit is an amazing app that you connect to your email address that collects all of your travel plans and automatically creates an itinerary for you. No extra work needed! Whenever you get an email with a reservation or confirmation, it automatically populates into the app perfectly curating your itinerary for you.

A real example of an Itinerary generated for me through the app.

The app allows you to collaborate with others and share your itinerary.

The app also allows you to keep track and see EVERYWHERE you have visited!

2. Rome2Rio

Rome 2 Rio is an app that can show you the different routes available to and from ANY destination in the world. I used it extensively in Europe. You can search by flight, train or bus and then it links out to the actual platform where you can book the travel.

Steps to using the app are pictured below. For this example, I've created a search for options from Cartagena, Colombia to Medellín Colombia.

First include your to and from destinations and the date you will be leaving.

Once you click search, you will see the options populate on the next screen.

Once you see all of your options, you can click on the option that looks best to you and it will give you a full breakdown of that specific itinerary.

3. Airalo

Depending on your cellular plan you may be hit with high roaming fees on an international trip. If you are staying for an extended time, consider purchasing an eSim from Airalo. Airalo is an app that allows you to download digital eSims for your preferred destination so that you can have internet service, while traveling without the high roaming fees and without having to remove your physical sim card from your phone. It’s downloaded before you leave and is activated once you arrive to your destination.
